Our Story

Food is my passion. The past 5 years I have been baking cakes, sweets, and other items. I have always wanted to open a shop so I can showcase my creations, as it brings a smile to my face when I see people enjoy what I make. Wacky Wonderful Waffles originally started off as an ice cream shop specializing in bubble waffle desserts (because they’re all the rage in Asia, and in bigger centres of Canada). However during the planning process, we decided to expand on the waffle theme and add savory waffle sandwiches. This fills a gap and adds more food variety in our beautiful village of Hillsborough. We know that this move will allow us to stay open for more than just the summer/tourist months, as most ice cream shops in the area close down shop for the winter season.
